Hello! My name is Abby, and I run this blog!
Originally called Ziva’s Blog, it was run by my sister, Ziva, the Dark Empress of All. We lost her in 2022, but we all thought we should continue it as Ziva’s Palace Blog.
In the past few years, we’ve also gained and lost some of my siblings. I say it because I also share the comics, “Three Black Cats” and “Molly and the Shadowlings” here, and they will appear in some of the strips, as does Ziva.

Me, Abby!
Hiii! I love this family! I wish the Shadowlings would be a little less…everywhere though. I am the 3rd eldest of us all, but the 5th child in the family. I love my brother, Leo so much! I wish he’d snuggle with me like he used to. I love to watch cartoons…and play. And floor time!
Leo, the Ginger Knight
My favorite! My brother! I love him so much! He’s gotten a bit more grumpy in recent years, but he still accepts me…most the time? “Too many black cats!” is a regular complaint he has. The Shadowlings like to follow him rveryehere!
Ari
One of the original three sisters, and the 2nd smallest of us all…but the loudest! She’s nice to me though. Or…I guess tollerates me?
Mom
She has a couple kitty snack dishes and a glass of water on her desk. And a blanket! Its lovely to hangout with her there, and eatch cartoons! Ari is attached at the hip to her!
Dad
Dad is tall, and very sweet! I love him so much!
Shadow
April 2024. The parents thought it was a good idea to let this momma come inside. The next day…she hsd kittens! She hasn’t wanted to leave since. She’s alright, but Ari isn’t a fan.
Gambit
Shadowling #1! He is the fluffiest, and the most regal looking of us all. He doesn’t care as much for being petted, and weirdly doesn’t like can food?! He won’t leave me or Ari alome!
Lockheed
Shadowling #2. Lockheed is a little less fuzzy than Gambit, but similar in size. He doesn’t like can food either? But this “Sheba” is his favorite. He also won’t leave me or Ari and Leo alone! Sometimes a girl just doesn’t wanna play!
Molly
Shadowling #3. She fancies herself a hunter. Not the best at hiding though…. She is thr smallest of us all, and 3rd fuzziest. She used to be all over Mom! Like me, she likes to watch Mom’s cartoons!
Rogue
Shadowling #4. She’s more of a distant child. Likes attention though. Doesn’t follow us elders around as much! Very chill and relaxed!
Scout
Shadowling #5! Scouty is very active, and sociable. She has the symbol of Nightwing! Loves to be loved.
Bowtie/Uncle Bub
My uncle moved in January 2025! I love him!
Lady
She is family! She lives downstairs, and sometimes feeds us. Very sweet, but has a couple cat punks. One called Paige comes up a lot….
Friends Upstairs
A couple years ago some friends of the parentals moved in with us! They are very sweet! They laugh a lot! I like them.
Ziva, the Dark Empress
Mom’s first child. She was one of the original 3 sisters, and she and Leo got along very well! I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her, but she was sweet to me.
Rivkin
Rivkin was one of the original 3 sisters. She was the boss, really. She didn’t like Leo or Ziva…but I was ok! Left in 2024.
Felix
The fuzzy old man came to us in winter of 2023, and left us 11 months later. He didn’t always play nice with others, and had some kind of neurological issue. But he liked to snuggle with the parentals! And spent a lot of time alone with the upstairs friends in their rooms.
